Thomas J. McCarthy began his accounting career working in the corporate auditing field in the early 1980s. He opened his first accounting practice in Greensboro, MD in 1984, and then opened his second location on Kent Island in 1985. Having made Kent Island his home in 1985, he has been a practicing CPA and along with his wife, have been members of the local community ever since.
Having dealt with a variety of businesses, estates, and individuals over the years, he has extensive experience in all types of tax-related issues including negotiating with the IRS and other taxing authorities. Moreover, he provides many of our business clients with on-going financial statement analysis, support, and advice. He is a member of the Maryland Association of CPA's (MACPA) and the Maryland Society of Accounting & Tax Professionals.
