Guide to checking your IRS refunds

Check your Individual Federal Tax return refund status:

1. https://www.irs.gov/refunds
2. Choose “check your refund”
3. Enter the primary taxpayer’s Social Security Number
4. Choose the appropriate tax year
5. Choose the filing status that was shown on your return
6. Enter the amount of the refund that was shown on your return
