Guide to checking your IRS refund

Check your Individual Federal Tax return refund status:

1. https://www.irs.gov/refunds
2. Choose “check your refund”
3. Choose the appropriate tax year
4. Enter the primary taxpayer’s Social Security Number
5. Choose your filing status that was shown on your return
6. Enter the amount of the refund that was shown on your return
